When I applied to college in 2016, I received THREE full-ride scholarships to New York University, University of Southern California, and the University of Miami. I also received admission to highly selective schools like Northwestern. But as any high school student knows, the journey was not easy...
It took a million AP Courses, more extracurriculars my fingers can count, late nights studying and hours and hours of research on college admissions. Not to mention, I was going to be the first in my family to go to college.
After every thing I learned, I knew I had to create a space where students could find updated information on the college process from someone who could relate. Someone who wasn't a hard to access admisisons officer or a high school guidance counselor with 500 students at their door.
I also wanted to create a platform that not only showed students how to get into college but how to get scholarships to those schools.
This is how You Got Into Where? was born.
